Annie's Family Daycare is a licensed facility. I have over 20 years experience with children. I have my ECE, criminal record checks done on a regular basis, 1st aid and CPR. I attend several workshops every year regarding the education of young children.
My facility is smoke free, we have a large fenced back yard and undercover play area. I have lots of toys and activities for the children inside and out.
We do a preschool program that is based around a monthly theme. Includes circle time, stories, books, crafts, games, songs, letters, shapes and number recognition, calendar time.
Our weeks consist of in the moment learning, language stimulation, stories, creativity, sensory activities, music/movement, songs/fingerplays, outdoor play, large and small muscle activities. Outdoor play is an integral part of our day as it offers the children a place to foster their imagination, learn about the world around them, keep them physically active, balanced and healthy. Once a week we attend a music class and gym class. Also go on neighborhood walks, walks to the park, and monthly field trips.
I provide a healthy am and pm snacks.
I provide pick up and drop for school age children at Prince Charles Elementary.
