My name is Salwa and I am a Home Daycare provider in the Orleans Area. I am located on Chaine Court (can be accessed from Innes & Page and Orleans & Boyer).
I have over five years of experience as a daycare provider with a Home Daycare Agency, plus over 30 years of experience raising six children of my own. I am looking to fill private daycare spots and/or subsidized spots (through the Home Daycare Agency that I work for).
I provide a safe, loving, and fun environment for the children. Our day consists of a routine of learning and having fun with outdoor and indoor activities, with a park close by.
I provide healthy, homemade food and snacks (including Lebanese food).
I have a police check, First Aid/CPR, references, receipts, and a non-smoking home. I also regularly attend workshops such as "How to plan your days", "I Care for Children, I Care for Quality", "Song and Rhymes", "Circle Time", and many others (Certificates for all seminars available).
When looking for a Home Daycare for your little ones, I know quality is on top of your list. I work with a Home Daycare Agency, and as part of that I have regular spot checks throughout the year by the Agency and an annual spot check from the City of Ottawa. I have standards that I upkeep in my Home Daycare and these get checked regularly during the year. The spot checks cover food safety and nutrition, house safety, hygiene, and updated documents (policy check, CPR). So if you are bringing your child to my home you will know that you are bringing them to a quality Home Daycare.
