Hi ,my name is Gina, and I have worked hands on with children of all ages for 28+ years, running a successful home daycare business, as well as working as a nanny for the last 3 years. My daughter that graduated with her ECE certificate, works with me on a part time basis.
I have just recently moved to Milton and starting up my home daycare business here. I have provided a warm nurturing and safe environment for children aged 6 months and older. I have a minimum amount of children to ensure adequate supervision. I offer various activities, and prepare the pre -schoolers for their new journey as they go on and start school. I believe in positive reinforcement when working with children as this helps develop self confidence which is fundamental in all stages of learning. If a child is confident, then they will embrace new situations with ease and feel reassured with any new challenges they face. I provide nutritional breakfast and lunches, as well as healthy snacks. Formula, milk and any type of baby jarred food should be supplied by the parents, along with diapers, diaper cream and other personal necessities for your child
We practice individual attention and care as each child has their own needs! Daily routines are carefully planned with age appropriate activities ensuring each child is stimulated for their own personal growth and development.

Regular outdoor activities (local park,walks, backyard play)

Sing-a-longs, music

Educational exercises (math,phonics,printing,reading)

I have a small Maltese dog, that is non-allergenic and non shedding. She has been around children since I got her at 6 weeks old. The children are not in direct contact with her most of the time because due to being small, the children tend to harass her and play rough, so she is around them only a very limited time.
Also a non smoking environment.
Police check and references upon request.
Flat rate of $50.00 per day, (sick days and statutory holidays to be paid for)
Daycare hours from 7:00am to 5:30pm, late fees will be enforced. |
