My job is to ensure that your child has a safe, healthy and educational experience every day. I believe that children learn best in a safe environment and from positive role models.
I began my career with children as a primary and junior teacher in the Ottawa area about 5 years ago. After having my second child, I made the decision to stay home with our children and provide loving, educational, and safe care for other children as well.
Being a qualified teacher, I have extensive training in educational programming and experience with children with special needs. I provide a clean and safe environment for exploration and play-based learning. I have current first-aid and CPR training and a police record check.
My goal is to provide your child with a safe environment in which to explore and learn. I will provide healthy meals and snacks to fuel their growing bodies and minds. I will give parents the piece of mind that their child is safe and having fun!
Admission conditions
All potential families will be provided a registration package via email. This will include items such as sample menus, sample day plan, and sample log book to keep you informed on what your child has accomplished each day. I will also ask you to fill out some information about your child at this time.
At the primary meeting, parents will be given a tour, introduced to the family dog and have an opportunity to ask any questions. We will also discuss your daycare needs. A holding fee for an enrollment place can also be made to ensure a position for your child at this time.
Enrollment will include a completed registration package, primary meeting, and two weeks payment in full.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
