My name is Lisa I have two Children a boy and a girl. I am opening my home as a home daycare because I want to stay home with my children and in this day and age it is difficult to do so. I do my very best as a mom/ educator to make sure all kids that are in my care are loved. I am a mom first , I do what moms do first, secondly I am a childhood educator . Learning is important but so is being a kid and having fun. I provide healthy snacks as it is so important to teach children healthy options at a young age. I have napping accommodations for children that require naps. I live moments away from a wonderful park where the kids can play. I also have a medium sized backyard where I have several things for the kids to learn and play with. I follow Ontario Home Childcare Regulations.
We learn things like numbers, counting, puzzles alphabets,singing , dancing, playdoh, colouring painting and crafts. Fridays we have dance parties, baloon parties. Every week you will get a progress report that outlines new things your child likes doing. I currently watch my two children and have another child I watch full time . I have 2 more spaces left.
