Nestled among a beautiful outdoors, with large outdoor space in the Bowmanville Old Scugog neighbourhood. Lil Explorers has one spot available for July/August 2016 for a child 2-3 yo.
Child care is provided in a loving, educational and fun home daycare that provides plenty of stimulating activities, daily outings and outdoor play. Theme oritented activities planned and carried out regularly. Family focused with a "gentle care" approach.
Child care provider has been operating a daycare for the past 10 years with a previous career in pediatric nursing.
Nutritious meals and snacks provided, menus prepared by a Registered Dietitian (meal menus/portions are specific to small children)
•CPR certified daycare provider
•Large, fun interactive playroom, separate sleeping room
•Daily planned art/sensory experiences which includes but are not limited to:
◦Gross/fine motor skills development i.e. crafts, baking, gardening, etc.
◦Daily interactive music time
◦Circle time (includes story telling, book reading, puppet shows etc.
◦Outdoor play, daily park outings
◦“Character Matters” program implemented weekly
•Weekly theme integrated to daily activities (i.e. zoo animals, outer space etc.)
