Welcome to S & A Childcare my program is designed to provide you with a high quality of education for your child. My home is warm and inviting, and a healthy indoor and outdoor environment for children to thrive in. At S & A Childcare I strive to have your child benefit from the temporal, physical, and interpersonal environments. My home setting insures individualized attention for each child as well as observations and lessons.
My program is set up to engage children in play while they are learning; my childcare facility has seven interest areas. Our areas include art, music and movement, outdoor, book and writing, sensory, fine motor and toys, and a dramatic area. This program is set up to ensure that children are learning actively through play with materials, manipulation, choice, adult scaffolding, and child language and thought. Our day will have a structured routine allowing your child choice throughout the day with small group times and work times. During work time children will plan, implement and review their choices. Your child will be learning through all of their senses. The children will be given a nutritious morning snack, lunch and snack this will aid in your child growing to their full potential. Breakfast is available at an extra cost of 3 dollars per day.
