Miss Anne's Home Childcare opened its doors in February 2006 in the Connaught Park area.
Available for full days or half days on the Sir Albert Love bus route. A recent criminal background check has been completed on myself (Sept. '10) and I have recent First Aid and CPR-C training. I am a registered social service worker with a background in journalism/editing and child & youth work.
My name is Anne Marie and I am a mother of three. We have two cats and a smoke-free home.
I provide hot and cold lunches and two snacks daily. We participate in arts & crafts, baking, science, math, literacy, puzzles, board games, gardening, story time, singing, computer play, walks to the park, outdoor play in our fenced yard, dress-up and role playing with a daily 1 hour quiet time for all children after lunch. We have monthly themes related to stories, crafts and activities. The children are encouraged to provide input into activities they would like to do. Sometimes we go on trips to the library, community events, Early Years Centre, other parks or playgroups. Homework help is available for school-aged children. Our home is a home, not a daycare facility so we have a low ratio of children.
Located North of Adelaide, between Simcoe and Ritson in Oshawa.
Fees are $32.00 for a full day for a maximum of 9 hours or $5.00 an hour for part time. Receipts are issued weekly or daily depending on the type of care required. Hours are 6:00am - 5:30pm sharp. Occasional Saturday care may be available.
