Hi, my name is Laura, I am a RECE and currently working as a nanny. I am looking to take on 3 more children starting in September.
During the day the children will be outside for a minimum of 2 hours (weather permitting), which includes going for walks, playing in the backyard, going to parks and splash pads in the summer. There is a toy room upstairs and a cratvie/toy room downstaris. The children will have craft time, play time, and circle time. This includes calendar, reading stories, and then a short time of seat work, which is greared according to the childs age. There is a room that will be for nap time as all children will need a half an hour of quiet time each day, if they do no t nap.
Two healthly snacks and a nutritious lunch will be served at the same time everyday.
The house is very neat, and smoke free, there are no pets as well. I am trained to work with 10 children to myself, and have experience working with children special needs. I have been working with children for 15 years, and recieved my early Childhood Education Diploma in 2010 from Sheridan College. I am first aid certified and have criminal record clearence.
