I am a mother of two very beautiful girls (1.5 & 3 years), that would love the opportunity to offer your child a home away from home. I love children and genuinely enjoy playing with them and watching them grown and learn. My program includes a lot of art, outdoor play and learning activities. A sample day would include the following; morning snack, circle (songs, finger plays, read aloud), park play (weather permitting), sensory activities (play dough, blocks, sand, goop etc...), free play, lunch, nap time, afternoon snack, and play around the house indoor or out.
Our house offers a large yard front and back with plenty of outdoor toys, a new park with splash pad, a large well lit play area in my great room with lots of windows and natural light. Each child will have their own room for nap time with a bed or playpen.
As an Ontario Certified teacher I have gained most of my experience with kinder aged children. However, since entering the childcare/teaching field 3 years ago I have managed to gain experience with children of all ages from infant to school age. In my most recent job experience I worked in a not for profit daycare centre as one of two kinder teachers, prior to that I worked in the same daycare centre as a floater filling in for teachers on their off days. I pride myself in the amount of love and support I have received from the families and children who I have worked with in past. Most of them just wish they lived closer :).
