While your child is in my care, I will commit to providing a safe and nurturing environment in which children are encouraged to develop both physically and intellectually. I will foster respect for others while encouraging your child's natural curiosity in the world around him or her. I will provide children in my care with:
-interactive activities that will foster independence and social skills;
-toys, play structures and learning activities to encourage physical (small and large motor skills) and intellectual development; and
-a safe and nurturing environment while they are in my care.
To achieve this, I will provide a schedule that includes both active and quiet play-indoors and outdoors, free and structured play and learning activities-and a consistent approach to meals, sleep/quiet times.
