I am a mother of 2 girls (a 3 and a 1 year old). I work for the federal government, and after having taken a year of maternity leave, I would like to continue to enjoy my time at home with the children. Though I have recently returned to work, I would like to take in children in the New Year (January 2013.)We are busy every day, whether it be at my home, joining playgroups, visiting the library, taking walks to the park and seeing sights in Ottawa i.e museums. I would like to continue that, if possible, with another child(ren). We live in a beautiful neighbourhood with walking trails, a private pool, and we have a playstructure in our backyard. We are a 10 minute walk to the closest park, and as there are many young children in the area, my children always have plenty to do. All meals are homecooked - hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm (though I am flexible.)
I would also consider taking in children on a part-time basis - that could be discussed when contacted.
