As a 7-year certified and experienced grades 1 and 2 teacher in the public system, I offer a before and after school care program that is safe, respectful, and fun. There are 3 spots for children attending a.m. Kindergarten, or grades 1 to 4 in McKenzie Towne. Your child will receive help with homework and tutoring, healthy breakfasts and snacks. There will also be outdoor play and exercise, and indoor activities that include crafts, puzzles, building blocks, toys, books, Lego, painting, games, and math activities. Relaxing down time after school also involves walks to the park in warm weather. I want your child to feel like he/she belongs and my aim is to help cultivate your child’s self-esteem. If your child takes piano, I have one for practicing on. I have my Level 3 in childcare, current security clearance, and current First Aid/CPR (Sept. 2011). We are open from 6:45 am to 5:30 pm in McKenzie Towne, Prestwick. We are a smoke-free and pet-free home. My house is only 2 blocks from McKenzie Towne School and 1.5 blocks from St. Albert the Great School, which is an easy walk! Email now to book a place for your child this fall. |
