Hello Parents!
To tell you a little bit about myself, my name is Demara, I have a beautiful 3-year-old daughter! I’m new to the Hamilton area and living downtown and am hoping to provide an affordable option for daycare for children of any age! I have a lot of experience with children of all ages having volunteered/worked in Day Cares in Newmarket and Richmond Hill, and, being the oldest of five, have spent tons of time babysitting my younger brothers and sisters! I’m extremely trustworthy and patient with children.
My clean, quaint and smoke-free apartment is childproofed and filled with toys for boys and girls. We have a basketball net, sandbox, kiddie pool, bikes and scooters (so bring your helmets and knee pads!) well kept back yard, and two kittens that are wonderful with kids! There is a park 2 blocks from my home, I have crafts, paints and lots of activities to keep the little ones busy.
I also own lots of newborn toys (swing, vibrating chair, bouncy chair, play pen etc.) I have tons of books for story time. I like the kids to not only learn their ABC's and 123's but also to build friendships, sharing and learn neat things while in my care.
I have a car and license and a good driving record as well in case of emergencies or drop off and pick ups as well.
The daily rate, per child, is 30 dollars, and the option for a half-day is available for 20 dollars. Which includes lunch and healthy snacks throughout the day. My hours are flexible, beginning any time after 7am until 7pm, exceptions can be made for the occasional late night!
