Little Learners is a new daycare and preschool opening in Arnprior.
We are geared towards the 1-5 age group (though will take others, as space permits).
We focus of fun and development. Everyday (extreme weather exceptions), we will play outside, go for walks, and explore the environment. (Located next to the Nick Smith Centre, so their is plenty of chances for exciting adventures!)
We also have circle time, 2 snacks and a balanced meal.
We take care to make sure that any allergies are prevented, and known about ahead of time!
Inside the Little Learners will help with age-centered learning - mixing, and helping in the kitchen, circle time with games, songs, stories, and show and tell, free play, and learning our ABC's, numbers to 20, colours, and basic shapes. (again, geared towards age). and Arts and Crafts!
About me, I am a Mom to my 3 year old son, who is active and interested in the world around him, but find few daycares are truely focused on the needs of the child. I have my ECE, first aid, CPR, and police records check. I am 100% committed to my child, and all Little Learners. Learning should be fun! and daycare should be more than mindless child-watching!
While the government allows for 5 children, plus my son, I never want more than 3 in my care (with my son, would be 4), as I feel this allows the best ratio for my Little Learners to grow and development - and have FUN!
Potty training is not an issue, and diapers are welcome! However, diapers must be provided by the parent, and I ask one package of wipes a month for diapered children. (I will supply above and beyond that). If the child is on formula, that also needs to be provided. Everything else is provided by me!
