I am a 1997 Ryerson graduate with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been working in the childcare field for the past 20 years and running my own home based daycare for the past 12 years.
As a Mom myself I know how hard it is to leave your child in daycare. That's why I work very closely with parents to make sure that your child adjusts to daycare as smoothly as possible. We set up visits before starting and I try to learn about your child's routines, likes and dislikes as well as habits or things that will make them feel more comfortable. I help parents feel confident and I put their minds at ease knowing I am only a phone call away. (I will text you if you would like to know how your child is adjusting to daycare as well as send you pictures)
I provide a stimulating environment with a bright learning space for children to play with floor toys, games, puzzles, books as well as teach songs, numbers, colours, alphabets and more during play-time.
I have a second space set up for gross motor and imaginative play with pretend roads to drive little cars and bikes. This area is set up with dramatic play centres, tent, slide, basketball and hockey centres.
I write daily notes to let you know what your little one did each day as well as what we ate for lunch, snacks. Including naps and diaper changes for the little ones:)
