Located in Village Green, right off Campeau in Kanata North.
Very friendly, family oriented neighbourhood.
We have 3 local parks within walking distance, one has a splash pad and one is completely shaded! Our local library is close by and it is beautiful with a full children's section!!
I am screen free, with no tv or computer(or tablet) located in the daycare. We do not use technology at all.
I am a play based daycare where we learn through play and hands on experience.
My home is warm, welcoming and completely baby-proofed!
Daily we read stories, do sensory bins, circle time, free play, craft time , we have daily sing alongs and of course outdoor time in our fully fenced in, back yard. Complete with sandbox, play structure, swings, playhouse and home made water table!
I do follow a schedule, but I understand that small children do not require their entire day to be structured.
Every child is loved and cared for like one of my own.
I give plenty of hugs and snuggles!
Everyone has their own playpen for naps and I am never too far and am always able to give a snuggle to fall asleep.
Meal time is always fun! I feed my little ones a VARIETY of food!
I bake almost all of my own snacks.
I make my own fruit sauces that have no added sugars
I make my own spices and seasonings
I do not feed any canned or processed foods
I make my own soups, stews, mac and cheese
I always offer a balanced meal and snacks
I serve milk and water, and the occasional apple juice!
I love to watch little ones explore foods and learn to feed them selves. Meal time here is serious fun!
