Loving, family-style home daycare in Queenswood Heights (Orleans) has an immediate opening for a child over 2 years old.
Your child will thrive in a loving, child-centred home that encourages creativity, silliness, laughter and learning. Every child is unique and I offer a place for that uniqueness to shine!
Children feel secure and gain confidence when they know what to expect throughout the day and for that reason our day follows a general routine, but I make room for some variances within our routine and I adapt our activities to suit the needs and interests of your child. We are television-free, and I incorporate free-play, reading, music, crafts, circle-time and dress-up into our daily activities, along with walks to our park, adventures around our neighbourhood, and outdoor play in my enclosed back yard. Other activities we enjoy include: gardening, impromptu dance parties, baking, and stopping to smell the roses (literally and figuratively).
Daily menu includes breakfast, two snacks and lunch. All meals are home-made (often organic), nutritious, and follow the Canada Food Guide recommendations. I will never serve your child a meal from a can! I love cooking delicious, healthy, fun foods and am really excited to share my passion for good food with your child.
I have my CPR, a recent Criminal Records Check, and excellent references. I am also a member of the Childcare Providers Resource Network and regularly attend training workshops.
My home is definitely where my heart is and I am so looking forward to offering both to your child.
