By providing an environment that is safe, clean and warm, children are engaged in daily stimulating activities that are age and developmentally appropriate to each child.
Warm meals are cooked on site, plus direct access to outdoor playground. We are a short walk from the local school. 3 parks and 2 natural ponds. In the springtime we go to feed the ducks, swans and the fish that live there.
Programming and lessons are planned and implemented one on one with each child through the Philosophy of Maria Montessori. All programming is geared to each individual child's learning level, ability and interest. We move through the levels at the child's pace.
The group ratio is never higher than 2:6 all depends on ages of current group.
I have a current Police Check.

I am CPR and First Aid certified plus I am a ECE (Early Childhood Educator) trained teacher of 15 + years. Also I am now certified AMCTE Montessori teacher. The classroom is set up in the Montessori way. We have Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language plus Culture. Culture covers music, botany, zoology, space and geography.
I do have pets in the home with us, I am a big believer that children need to be exposed to animals as much as possible in a safe environment. Also every spring we get an incubator with a dozen eggs. We wait in anticipation for them to hatch. Once we had ducklings.
