Solecitos Playcare is a licensed family daycare ready to provide an active, fun and safe environment for your child. I have eight years of experience, lots of patience, energy and humour. We have 1500 sqf of pure fun; surrounded by windows and plenty of natural light. The daycare is equiped with an indoor playground (for the young ones), fun and educational toys, themed room, outside commercial playground, swingsets, large sandbox and trampoline (with safety net) plus much more. We love and encourage outside play and physical activity! Homework supervision is provided (school age children).
We have a structured program during the first half of the day and good old fashioned playtime during the second half. Lots of outside time, spanish immersion, hands on learning, love, flexibility, phonics, gymnastics, library storytime, swimming lessons, arts and crafts, monthly field trips and a fully fenced large backyard. Located in a nice cul de sac in a family environment.
For the out of school care children we provide: Homework supervision, weekly swimming lessons through the Leisure Centre Red Cross Program, other sports like Skating lessons, Skateboarding lessons and art programs provided through the Leisure Centre.
For the little ones: Weekly visits to the Library story time, Parks, Indoor Play Centres (Winter) and Kindersteps - Educational Gym & Music Classes.
Example of activities: Sledding during the Winter, Water Fun during the Summer, Field Trips to Vancouver Zoo, Aquarium, Jungle Jac's, Maritime Museum (Pirate Theme), Bear Creek Train Park, Stanley Park Ghost and Christmas Trains, Cineplex Odeon, Science World, Pajama Days, Fear Factor Parties, Silly Olympics and much more!
