You shouldn't have to pay a fortune for amazing child care. My name is Megan at Little Hands Childcare, I am a stay at home mother of a 18 month old daughter and will care for your child in my baby-proofed (smoke free) home! (3+ years.) I currently care for my daughter who is 18 months, and a 3 year old boy.
I have over 8 years childcare experience as a private nanny before I had my daughter, as well I have my CPR/First aid certificate as well as St. Johns Childcare Certificate, numerous references and a clean criminal background check.
A typical day consists of learning activities, play time, dance and sing along, story time, snacks, nap time, and so much more. I know how difficult it can be to leave your child in another persons care, but as my references will agree I am loving, caring, will put your child's needs first, and care for them as if they where my own, ensuring their safety ALWAYS comes first.
I will provide healthy lunch (such as, sliced turkey sandwiches, cold pasta salads, fresh bagel pizzas, fun shaped tortellini, homemade vegetable soup, etc) snacks and beverages (such as fresh fruit, whole wheat crackers, low fat cheese, yogurt, milk, water and sugar free juice) Diapers and wipes to be provided by parents, I will provide diapers and wipes for an additional $10 per week.
Any allergies or special food requirements etc will be recorded on a child information sheet that will need to be filled out completely prior to your child's first day with me.
I live in a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom smoke free condo in Langley. My condo is open an concept kitchen living room and dining room, so your child is completely visible no matter where they are in the common areas. The rooms and bathrooms are gated with a baby gate to ensure little hands stay within the safe baby proof area. I keep my home clean and tidy. The living room is large and open, and filled with toys and activities - this is where the fun happens! Lunches and snacks are always prepared the night before, so not time is spent away from your kids.
I also focus on group play, so all children are involved and do not feel left out of any activities.
I am available from 6:30 - 5pm Monday - Friday. I am sorry, however I am not available evenings, weekends, or statutory holidays. (Times are negotiable, please let me know if you need to alter the times listed, and I will do my best to accommodate you.
My rate is $100 per week per child (includes all food and snacks), payable on Monday for the upcoming week. Since my rate is already very reasonable, this is the rate rather you need part time or full time care, and must be paid on Monday in order for your toddler to stay with me for the week (You can pay in advance as well)
