WELCOME to Play Learn & Explore Daycare and Learning Centre!
We are a small daycare located at the north end of Bowmanville on West Scugog Lane. Although we are small in size, it is our big hearts that love each and every little person who we take care of.
Your child will benefit from our fun and routine-based play, education and exploration.

Our programs are based on my own philosophy: play, learn and explore. I believe that pre-school children thrive on the opportunity to explore and play whether it's during a trip to the park or learning about different foods and money while playing 'grocery store' in a supermarket made of cardboard and monopoly currency.
Our daycare provides children with the perfect balance of education, play and the opportunity to explore.
Play: the children will be immersed in several different types of play, during our daily indoor and outdoor play time. Many choices will be available from dress up, to arts and crafts. From tag to dance parties. Kids will be having too much fun playing to realize that they are in fact learning!
Learn: we focus on the key elements that children need in prep for school. We will spend time learning about numbers, letters, colours, children's literature, animals, the weather, the calendar, pre-writing and reading skills
Explore: there are so many interesting things out there in the world to discover, and the children at our daycare will witness the importance of exploring things both big and small. Exploration will happen through such things as scavenger hunts, trips to the zoo, or flights to 'outer space'.
We also work towards developing children's emotional/social, communication and problem solving skills. |
