Hello, my name is Jenny Facciolo and I'm very excited to be starting a new home-based daycare in the area of Angus Ontario. I have many years of valuable experience volunteering in a Daycare Centre in Caledon East. My daycare will provide care for before and after school along with full days as needed.
I love children and have found a passion in teaching them the skills that are so important in helping them succeed in the school system. A curriculum will be in place to help them achieve their full potential with that goal in mind. This will include (but are not limited to) activities that focus on learning, games, crafts, stories, playtime, outdoor activities (daily with weather permitting), free time and learning through the arts (dancing, singing, music etc.) We will spend time outside each day weather permitting and go for walks around the neighborhood or to the local park and to the bus stop in morning and afternoon. I believe that creativity helps children gain confidence and I always encourage through praise and positive reinforcement.
For nap time each child will have their own bed to sleep on. All activities will occur on the main floor of my home or outside in the backyard. I will provide nutritious meals for lunch and 2 snacks daily. All meals will be discussed with parents and any special allergy concerns will be addressed.
To inform all parents I have two small pets in my home, our loving Pomeranian Dog, Teddy who weighs 4.5 lbs. He loves people, especially children. Also our Calico Cat, Cali who is 9lbs. She is very friendly but stays mostly to herself. Both pets are harmless and spend most of their time sleeping upstairs.
I have an open door policy and you will always be welcome to come in my home at anytime your child is in my care.

Hours of Operation: Mon-Fri 7:30am - 5:00pm
I can be flexible with drop off time in the morning and pick up times at night. I am paid weekly. Fees are expected in advance, payable on the first day of care in any given week.
Daycare Fees:
Before or After School $15.00
Before and After School $20.00
Full Day up to 10 hours $35.00 per day
Over 10 hours TBD
I am dedicated to providing a warm, fun, family oriented and educational atmosphere that allows children to develop at their own pace.
I have First Aid with CPR Level C + AED (for Infants, Children and Adults)
At this time I have 3 spots available to fill starting September 2013.
