I am an Early Childhood Educator who has being running a Family Daycare for more than 8 years. My daycare provides a warm, safe, and healthy environment that promotes a sense of well being and belonging. To support children learning, I offer a play-based curriculum that follows children interest. I believe that in playing children express, explore, combine, and extend the world around them. I work in partnership with the parents to help their children to reach their full potential. I offer healthy snacks and I involve children in the growing of fresh vegetables in our community garden. We do inside and outside activities, including field trips and visits to community centres and libraries. Weather is not a barrier, rain or shine!.
