At my Sherwood Park Day Home, play is number 1! I emphasize play and social skills, while still offering preschool and kindergarten readiness activities such as circle time, sensory exploration, fine motor skills (writing and scissors), and cognitive/discovery type play. We also have daily outdoors time (or indoor active time).
I offer nutritious meals (breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks). Mostly homemade; I use very little fat and sugar in my recipes and no artificial sweeteners.
We are located on a quiet street, have a spacious backyard, and access to parks nearby. Our home is smoke free. We have a cat, she is well-behaved with children and fully vaccinated.
