I am a mother to my loving seven year old daughter and three year old son. I have been working with children my whole life through babysitting, and providing daycare the past few years. I enjoy playing, teaching, and learning with children. In my BILINGUAL daycare, every day is filled with spontaneous play in combination with planned activities. I focus on imagination, educational play, active time and quiet time. I love encouraging children and watching them grow in a safe and nurturing environment. Compassion and respect are our priority. I consider the needs of each child and adapt my techniques as necessary. I spend lots of time at neighborhood parks, going for walks + adventures, and at the splash pad. We live in a great area that has several large parks which are often busy with other children, perfect for improving social skills and interactions. As an Interior Designer I regularly enjoy arts and crafts such as coloring, pasting, painting, PlayDoh, sand play, science experimental more. We also enjoy listening to children's music while incorporating both dance and instruments, allowing everyone to contribute to the fun. We have a daily circle time which includes singing, physical movements/actions, dancing and stories. We focus on the alphabet, numbers, colors, counting through flash cards, books, instruments and shapes. We are located at Kinghaven Crescent off Stonehaven just next to the retirement manor. References available, and child care receipts available if needed, Agency, First Aid + CPR certified and member of the CCPRN. Full days are $40. Pre/post care available as well. I am also open to a part time care. |
