Hi there,
I am a military wife and stay at home mother. I am currently offering child care in my home for children (preferably) 18 months and up to about two and a half (could be up for negotiation though). I could do full time-which is what I prefer, part time or even casual.
We live in a pet & smoke-free home.
I am young, fun, energetic, creative and enthusiastic. I pride myself on showing children how things are done, colors, shapes, etc. I love kids and I love running a day home, playing and getting in touch with my "kid side".
I have a 22 month old boy, he is very gentle and loving. He gets along with all ages and both genders and he knows a lot more than the average child his age, he is very smart.
I provide everything the children needs and wants. The meals and snacks I provide are all homemade, nutritious and follow the guidelines in accordance to the Canadian Food Guide for children.
My community has a lot of great things to offer. There are parks, trails, open fields and a splash park all within a 5 minute walk from my house.
I have a fenced in back yard and the outdoor toys will be brought out once the snow melts. We like to take a walk or go out to play in the fresh air as often as we can-when the weather is appropriate.
I live at the military base in Edmonton, CFB Edmonton, which is on the North end of Edmonton.
I plan all of our activities each day, but I still like to go with the flow and let the child(ren) in my care decide what they would like to do. I encourage baking, painting, dancing, singing songs, drawing, and free play. I also enjoy teaching colors and shapes in fun and creative ways at least once a day.
