I am offering quality childcare in my home. I have plenty of experience in early childhood care and I am a devoted mother of two children, aged 3 years and 10 months. My work experience includes, working with the Boys and Girls Club, YMCA, Sunday Children's classes and local preschools. I have my Childcare First Aid and CPR certification and I am in the process of being licensed by Wellington County. My husband and I both have police clearance checks. In addition, my home is a pet and smoke free home. I am currently watching a 16 month old but he will be leaving us soon as his mother is going on maternity leave. I would be happy to provide you with a reference if required.
Our days involve:
Walks to the library
Nature walks
Playground next door
Age appropriate arts and crafts
Interactive music and movement
Sensory play
Imaginative play
Practicing practical life skills
Age appropriate educational activities
Toys are rotated on a daily basis and disinfected weekly
Play spaces will include the brightly lit main floor, fully fenced and equipped back yard and basement playroom. Each child will have their own private area to nap and a playpen or cot.
I prefer to keep my group small, therefore I will only have 4 children in total. We will not be going in a vehicle as we are walking distance to many activities.
A lunch and 2 snacks will be provided. Lunch will always be home cooked and snacks and lunch will be balanced, healthy and preservative free. Special diets can be accommodated. Water and if you desire, milk will be offered. No juice.
Parent Policy Handbook and Contract outlining clear policies, procedures and best practices will be discussed and provided.
I can provide pictures of my space if interested. Or you can schedule a visit and see if this would be the right fit for your family!
Please call or email me with any questions or inquiries.
