I am a loving Mother, and care giver. In my home we have a dog and a cat so your child must not be allergic however this is a great experience to teach the children how to act with animals. They are extremely friendly and love kids. I provide healthy meals and snacks along with homemade goodies. The kids get the opportunity to decorate cupcakes once a month as well as make your own pizza days. We have plenty of books and toys, and we love to play games and have scavenger hunts. I am experienced with children with disabilities and administering medications.
In my private Day home I focus on having fun with the kids. Teaching them interaction with other kids and animals is very important and that is my main focus. We enjoy walks to the park and playing in the back yard. We celebrate everyone's Birthdays with a little party and cake as well as making crafts for gifts. This lets all the children know they are special and cared for.
