I have no children of my own but I am an "Auntie" to many. I've been doing home daycare for 3 1/2 years through Global Childcare Services, therefore I am able to take on subsidy kids through the agency as well as private kids.
My daycare is all done on the first floor of my home. It's a small space but we make the most of it. There's plenty of room to colour, craft, have "picnic" movie lunches, read books, play with toys, and eat lunch and snacks. I do have a backyard that kids use in the summer time as well as there's a small "field" of grass that is fenced in near my back yard that we play in alot too.
I am within a 2 block walking distance to Saint Brother Andre Catholic Elementary School.
My home is also across from a small park with a splash pad and a big field. Within walking distance of two other parks with splash pads and a third park as well. I love to go for walks with the kids (get some excersise into all of us... lol) We do groceries, walk to the corner store, we've gone to Chapters so that we can pick out new books for CaitCait's collection of children's books :)
We try to eat healthy, though every once in awhile we'll do a pizza day or something of the sort. For the most part I try to get a fruit and a veg into each child every day. I have worked with children who are very picky eaters so I am used to it and have a few tricks up my sleeves. In the summer we do picnics at the park atleast a couple of times a week as we tend to get caught up in playing and having fun so we might as well take our lunch with us right? :)

Must be ok with animals as I do have 2 cats and 1 new kitten the older two both spend the majority of the day away from the kids and sleeping upstairs anyways.
This is NOT a peanut/nut free home. Unfortunately it is not possible for me to keep my home 100% nut free at this time.
If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
