Hello! I am a fun, loving, energetic mother of 22 month old and 7 month old girls who believes in letting kids be kids in a safe and nurturing environment, opening a home day care in June. Offering full-time, part-time, casual care; before and after school care available. I am located off Elm St., walking distance to 3 parks and the local Library. Along the Guardian Angels and Westwind bus routes.
Our smoke-free home features a play area on the main level, a play room full of imagination inspiring toys in basement and a quiet space to recharge after a nutritious lunch! In addition, a fenced in backyard with large play structure, sand box, vegetable garden, lots of room for fun and adventure!
Our day includes both structured and free play and lots of fun!!! I believe in learning through play, exploration, being silly, song and positive reinforcement. We are currently learning our 123’s, ABC’s, colors and animals and their sounds! Activities in our daily routine include (but are not limited to!): crafts, coloring, singing, reading, baking, and dancing!
I have many years of working with children of all ages through church activities and summer camp leader at various camps (including YMCA). Studied French all through school, so would be able to help with French home work.
