Greetings parents!
My name is Magan and with over 10 years experience caring for little ones and with my love for children; a B.A. in Psychology with courses in Child Development, First Aid, CPR C & AED certification and a current Police Record Check; I offer child care services in my home. I am also a member of the CCPRN (Child Care Providers Resource Network) which provides valuable information and workshops for continuous education in order to help me provide the best care for your little one.
I have a 9 month old little boy so I know searching for the right child care provider and environment can be a daunting task, but look no further; Pride and Joy Daycare will provide your little one with a happy, healthy, nurturing, safe and educational environment.
Spaces available for July for ages 6 months to 5 years.
Our schedule will follow the Creative Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers to ensure a routine for your little one while still being flexible in order to accomodate each little one's needs. There will be time for both guided play and exploratory play.
Activities:
• Arts & Crafts (coloring, painting, creating masterpieces with beads, using glue, crayons, etc)
• Music and Movement (singing, dancing, related games such as ring around the rosie)
• Play doh, Puzzles, Games, etc
• Preschool activities such as: color by number/letter, tracing and cutting shapes, learning colors, numbers, letters, introduction to reading, writing, and math activities.
• Daily Outdoor Play and regular visits to local parks, play groups, community activities and fenced in backyard with play structure and sand/ water play.
• Each day 30 minutes will be allocated to watching Baby Einstein Videos for the little ones and for the older children Sesame Street.
All toys and rooms will be cleaned and sanitized each day using only natural products.
Lunches and Snacks will be all natural & organic, made fresh daily.
A weekly meal plan will be provided to parents every Sunday via e-mail. Meals can be tailored for preferences and allergies.
There is a quite room for nap time where children under 3 will sleep in cozy cribs and children 3-5 will sleep on comfy cots. Special stuffed animals and blankets are welcome.
Availability:
Open weekdays 6:30am-6:30pm (Flexible hours, 10 hours per child)
Occasional Saturday care is available.
Rates (Receipts will be provided):
• Full-Time: $40 per day (5-10 hours) *Lunch & 2 snacks included*
• Part-time: $30 per day (up to 5 hours) *Lunch & 1 snack included*
Items to be provided by parents:
• Formula
• Baby food
• Diapers
• Spare clothing
