This in-home daycare will be a part of the In-home Daycare Agency government program. Yearly safety inspections from a government official will be preformed and all regulations are adhered to.
Your child will be involved in a number of activities that vary day-to-day. I firmly believe in messy play, loud play, outdoor time, music time, independence for all ages and a screen free environment.
I have plenty of experience with teaching and guiding young children in early education and preparation for school and classroom settings.
I am currently a nanny for several families in the area, and have decided to take this to a professional level. We will be moving to a house this summer and setting up a daycare. This home has no basement, which means your children will be exposed to natural light throughout the day, and can enjoy the backyard freely in a safe, gated, community.
There will be an indoor pool within the gated community, depending on the skills of the children, this will play a part in our regular monthly routine. Lifejackets and floaties will be supplied, as well as constant supervision.
I believe young children are eager to explore their world, and will always be there to guide them throughout their day. Each child is unique, but all children are curious. It is my hope to answer all questions children have, through experience.
There will be a dedicated play room, filled with age appropriate toys, centers and lots of craft supplies. This space also has a large sliding door leading to the backyard.
The children will have their own washroom with stools and steps to facilitate washroom independence. I can help young ones potty train.
Monthly parents' "date night" is included in the daycare cost. This will be one Friday, each month, from 7pm-11pm that the parents can drop of their little ones for a movie and pajama party. The movie will be age appropriate and you, the parent, will have a say in appropriate movie titles.

I am accepting applicants now, and can sit and meet most mornings, including weekends. I will have sample menus, schedules, and forms for you to look at. No contracts will be signed until you have a full tour of the completed play space.
The space will not be fully renovated until August 2013, no contracts will be signed until you are fully satisfied with the play space and daily, weekly and monthly program, and have had a full tour of the daycare. |
