My name is Niki MacIntyre, and I run daycare in my home for children 1-4 years of age and can provide after school care if needed. I am located at 9 Raspberry Lane, off of Grange and Victoria rd.
Some basic services provided are:
- healthy and freshly prepared snacks and lunches (sample menu provided)
- daily exercise and free play
- lunch outside on our kids picnic table and picnics in the grass (weather permitting)
- outside play in my fenced in backyard
- singing, dancing and music
- arts and crafts, colouring and paper mâché
- baby sign language
- Disney movie Fridays
- spelling, reading and writing
- story and nap time
- take home written log book of child's day (lunch, snacks and playtime)
- lessons of good hygiene practice and weekly fire drills
My play room photos are attached, we have a locked fridge in the room so snacks and drinks are always on hand (no sugary drinks or foods). There is a child friendly washroom and diaper change station on the same level, so I will never have to be away from the children when they are in my home. We have working fire alarms on every floor and a carbon monoxide detector. Baby gates are located at the top and bottom of every set of stairs, and drawers and cabinets have child locks attached.
