My name is Megan and I run a small private dayhome serving the Newcastle community and surrounding areas. I am a mother to a beautiful one year old girl who loves playing and learning with her friend's everyday!
My husband joins us some days as he works as a police officer in a rotating schedule. He is very enthusiastic about all the kids we care for and he enjoys the dayhome as much as I do!
I am open Monday to Thursday 7:30AM to 5:30PM. All meals and snacks are provided-including breakfast!
Our play area is located on the main floor with plenty of space for playing, dancing and creating! We have a very fun environment with lots of different activities on a daily basis. We follow a regular schedule so everyone knows what to expect and there is room for free play and self expression as well.
Our dayhome focuses on individualized attention for each child's needs. We offer circle time, pre-school curriculum, quiet time, outside time, craft time and field trips:)
I am certified in Child First Aid through Saint John Ambulance and I provide a criminal record check and child welfare check as well as references.
Our dayhome is a smoke free and pet free environment :)
