I care for a wonderful group of 5 children, including my 3 year old daughter, Soleil. I am looking for a part time or casual female playmate for my daughter as her current female daycare friend is moving Dec 1. Soleil has an awesome male friend within the daycare whom is a little older and she loves to be a big sister for the rest of younger group, but she also enjoys playing with females her age.
Sunny Ducks Daycare is a cozy, nurturing, fun learning-enriched environment. I believe that each child has a special inner spirit that thrives on flexible, structured routines, learning through play, positive discipline, and a whole lot of kindness and patience.
I am a professional elementary school teacher, a sister to 5 younger siblings and a mother of one amazing 3 year old daughter. I have been passionate about teaching children since I was in Grade Three. The wonderful group of children in my care are encouraged to use ‘kind words and gentle hands’ as we learn our ABCs, days of the week, and other positive social behaviours necessary for PreK.
I am very interested in many natural practices within my smoke and pet free home; we don't use a microwave oven, we clean with natural cleaners, use natural hand soap, utilize aromatherapy, and serve organic foods whenever possible with a variety of well balanced meals.
