Stepping Stones Daycare provides a child-centred environment which allows children to learn through exploration and hands-on experiences. They will participate in experiments, games, sensory, dramatic and creative activities to gain a variety of skills in fun and exciting ways. Through interaction, discussion and practice, children will work towards developing socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively.
Healthy meals and snacks will be provided throughout your child's day. We will have nap time and spend a great deal of time outdoors.
I have worked with children from infants to grade six in a variety of environments for over 10 years. I spent four summers as an educator for a Kindergarten Readiness program and conducted multiple placements in school classrooms while obtaining my Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. For the past three years I was a preschool educator at a daycare institution, and have decided to run a daycare out of my home so that I can do the job I love while still being able to spend my days with my toddler.
