Bonjour ! My name is Marie-Helene (Mary Ellen). I am a former French Immersion teacher with over 10 years experience working with children and developing educational programming.
I believe the best environment for young children is in a home setting, where the child/provider ratio is low, where children can feel secure and benefit from close interaction with the caregiver and one another.
My goal is to provide a home away from home where your child will be part of a second family, where they are safe, supported and loved.
A structured routine (including Circle Time, Crafts, Creative Play, Music and Songs, Yoga, Outdoor Play, Baking, Gardening and more) will give your child a sense of security that will allow him/her to flourish.
With a newly renovated, dedicated daycare space in the lower level, a spare room on main floor with cots and playpen for naptime, a sunroom and a large, treed, fenced-in back yard, I provide a clean, safe and fun environment for little ones.
Afford your child the opportunity to get a head start in French Immersion! I will speak in "sandwich" to your child (French, English, French), teaching him/her a second language through themed learning, songs and play.
A healthy breakfast, lunch and snack will be provided.
Vulnerable Sector Screening and Criminal Records Check completed (husband as well).
CPR trained.
