Hi there,
I currently have 2 full and 1 part time Openings for Sept. I only take 3 full times at once and 1 part time.
I have a routine in place for every child. I do follow the Montessori teaching methods as age appropriate for your child.
I help your children learn the fundamentals needed to succeed when school time arrives.
I teach through arts and crafts and play as well as Circle time where we learn though activities and montessori activities.
I have a binder of activities and songs that parents can go though.
the binder has information about the montessori teaching methods and there activities. I also have resource information about child development and other learning fundamentals for children.
I also have a log bog that goes home each day with your child so you can read what your child has accomplished for the day as well as ate. I also ask that parents write in the journal so I know how your child has been the night before. ie (if you child was up though the night and is extra tired.)
I print off a meal plan each week so you can read what the up coming meals and snacks are for the week.
I have a main floor play room with big window and bath room and kitchen.
I provide a loving care taking atmosphere where you can go to work and know your child is in a good place. as a mother of two I know that feeling of needing to know your child is in a good place. I have a quite nap room for children who need nap time. I play quite lullaby music to help your young one nap.
I also encourage potty training (potty learning) and work with mom and dad on potty training.
I have out door play where we will go to the park, ect, I do out door planned activities as well such as, soccer, duck duck goose ect.
I charge 32.00 a day . to help keep cost down I just ask mom and dad for help with saving recyclable materials from around the house to help out with arts and crafts... ie. toilet and paper towel rolls. cereal boxes , kelnex boxes ect. I have a list for parents.
I do have my CPR and Police check. I worked as a family support worker with VON for 5 years prior to opening my home daycare.
