With over 16 years experience and training and a mother of 4, I demonstrate a high level of understanding, involvement and honest commitment to gently guide your child's natural curiosity. During daily interaction with the environment, independent and social group activities, your child is provided with the opportunity to play, establish relationships, learn, explore and develop in areas such as; respect for others, positive interactions, problem solving, effective decision making, dealing with emotions, as well as gross and fine motor skill development, self esteem and independence. I strive to offer a safe, secure and nurturing environment which will foster trust and build a strong and self confident child. My child centered approach offers a program that respects your child's individual needs and encourages active parent involvement. Healthy snacks and meals are offered. First Aid/CPR and criminal reference check are also up to date. I have a portfolio for you to view should you wish that also includes excellent references. Throughout the school year we attend weekly playgroups, visit the library and attend a variety of other outings provided by the Child Care Providers Resource Network, which I am a member of. Our friends also enjoy table top activities, a full playroom of age appropriate toys as well as outdoor play in a safe, fully fenced back yard with plenty of toys.
I am conveniently located on Stonehaven in Bridlewood with easy access to Eagleson or Richmond Rd for your work commute.
I also have bussing for Roch Carrier Children at the end of my laneway.

I have one fulltime spot available in August. I fill my daycare based on a full time enrollment. My rates reflect a slightly smaller child ratio as I like to keep my numbers to 4 instead of 5. Some families working shifts enjoy the flexibility of knowing that childcare is always available during operating hours Mon to Fri.
Families interested in Tiny Wonders must also have a love and appreciation for pets. We have two very special friends who spend their days with us. Angus and Sheena are two Cairn Terriers who have been with us for a few years now. They love the children and help the children learn how to be gentle, respectful and kind to animals. They are a very special part of our daycare home. UPDATE: Sadly we lost our beloved friend Angus last Fri Jan10/14 to a sudden massive liver failure. He rests peacefully now.
We will miss our special canine friend. |
