1 Spot open immediately for a child between the ages of 12 months to 4 years old. Currently I have 3 boys (two are my own children) and 1 girl in my care. I provide a low ratio childcare environment. I provide a dynamic environment that children love being part of. We go to local parks, splash pads and nature walks. We also go on a larger outing once or twice a month to a museum or other attraction. We also have a wonderful Music instructor who comes once a month or more to do a class. We also have themed days Hawaiian day, pirate day, pj day, Hollywood day and so much more.
My name is Jenn. I specializing in children between the ages of 1 year to 4 years old. I have been working with children of all ages (0- 18 years) for over 15 years. I love creating an environment that children want to learn and explore! I offer a safe, clean, educational, smoke free, comfortable and bright main floor area in our home for children to play in. We have a separate area that is dedicated for sleeping and quiet time. I also have a fully PVC fenced backyard with lots of outdoor toys.
My goal is to prepare children for school and have fun while doing so.
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Education Graduate
- Valid CPR and First Aid - Level C
- Valid Vulnerability Security Record check for both myself and my Husband
- Mother of 2 boys 2 and 3 years old
Our program:
Our day is composed of learning and exploring the environment around us inside and outside. During nice days we tend to spend the majority of the day outside weather permitting. We do arts and crafts, baking and cooking, science experiments, circle time, learn through play (gross motor, fine motor, emotional and social skills). We take trips to the local parks (2 parks mins walking distance from our house) and to local area amenities. For little explores that need to recharge their battery we have quiet/ nap time. For nap time no more then 2 children in a room together. We celebrate and have parties for special occasions (from birthdays to potty training success).
Meals:
I provide nutritious meals and snacks (morning snack, hot lunch and afternoon snack). We work on a 6 week menu rotation schedule. Please inquire for additional meals or allergy/ food sensitivity.
Additional info:
I am flexible in providing additional support and services if the need should arise. I am also open to taking children who require unique hours due to shift work. Regular Hours are 7:45 till 5pm.
