As an ECE and mother of 2 school age children I provide a loving and safe environment for children to learn and explore. I have over 10 years experience providing children of all ages quality home daycare including children with special needs. With a special focus on the personal growth of each child including their cognitive, emotional and social development I create daily routines and schedules meant to maximize their learning. I have fist aid CPR as well as police checks. Many references are available.
Daycare features:
· Healthy lunch and 2 snacks are provided based on the Canada Food Guide (will accommodate the child’s tastes and needs)
· I offer a variety of fun and educational toys for girls and boys of all ages
· Circle time which includes stories and music
· Dramatic play and creative movement
· Sensory activities aimed at helping them understand how their whole body works together
· Arts and crafts (age appropriate activities)
· Naptime / quiet time
· Daily outdoor play time; either in my backyard or the local park down the street (weather permitting)
· Outings to other parks and the Locke St. Library
I currently have 2 full time openings available
Located west of Dundurn St on Homewood.
My daycare is open Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm (but willing to be flexible for occasional early drop off or late pick up).
Cost is $40/day (discounts available for second child), receipts are provided
