Hello Parent's!
A little bit about myself and what I have to offer as a childcare provider, I am the mother of two wonderful children ages 10 and 13 and my husband and I have grown up in Waterdown. I have my updated CPR and First Aid certificate as well as a Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
My daycare is also teacher friendly.
The main area of my daycare is in my basement. My basement consists of a bedroom, a large play area and a bathroom. We are not always in the basement and I have some toys on the main level for the children to play with while I prepare snacks, lunch, and diaper changes etc.
I believe that outdoor time is important, and many working parents do not have the time during the week for outdoor activities. Our daily schedule consists of outings such as, (weather permitting), the park (I am in close proximity to 4), splash pad, walks in the neighbourhood, the Library, the Bruce Trail, and my yard. We do arts and craft projects, story time as well as learning nursery rhymes, ABC’s and 123’s.
I provide two healthy snacks and a healthy lunch each day.
