I am a social worker who has worked as a teacher on and off since I was 19 years old in private schools (currently teaching evenings for the last year).
I am a mother of 3 school aged children. I am First aid certified with st. John ambulance, i have police clearance and youth leadership training. I am an after-school teacher to 30 children mon-thurs. My home is an education based home, we read stories, learn about animals, people and science and love crafts!
My home is pet-free, smoke-free, alcohol-free, clean and organized. I have a nice fenced-in, maintained back yard for the children to play in. During the week, we like to walk to the playground down the street a couple times if the weather is nice.
I am fluent in English and Spanish, I can understand enough urdu and french to get by as well.
Admission conditions
Must be fine with children being in a Muslim home as my family does pray, we don't have any alcohol or pork in the house and I do cover when I leave the house. Please note I will not impose nor teach my beliefs to any children in my care unless requested by the parents.
