I am a registered E.C.E. and a member of our provincial organization AECEO. I graduated with distinction from St. Lawrence College. I am a member of the Child Care Provider Resource Network. In the past 18 years, I have been employed with many respected child care agencies. I have been the Head teacher of a Nursery School Program, a Director of a Before and After School Program and a classroom teacher for various age groups. I have been a Facilitator for OEYC and a Home Child Care Advisor.
Throughout my career, I have participated in professional development so I am up on new research and governmental changes.
I believe in respecting children's individuality and fostering social awareness and empathy.
I am experienced in delivering child-directed learning opportunities, which is consistent with the play-based learning style which is being delivered in Kindergarten classrooms.
