It is my goal to provide a fun-loving environment for your child to learn and excel in the first stages of their life.
Description:
Raising Daysies Childcare is a home-based childcare, providing care for children of all ages in a fun-loving environment. Raising Daysies incorporates an age appropriate educational program into our activities, encouraging children from 12mos-4 years to strive towards school preparation, and to help children from 4yrs-9yrs with their learning needs. We moderate our time between stimulating games, progressive play, creative learning, group time and free time. We also do theme learning, and crafts daily. Communication, invigorating activities, music, nutrition, and outdoor free time all play an active role in our day to day routines. All these wonderful things are important parts of the healthy development of children and are taught at Raising Daysies starting at a fresh young age!
I run my business out of a section of my house that is self-contained and solely used for the purposes of my business. I also use my backyard. Inside is fully equipped with a quiet reading space, nap space, indoor play area, a kitchen that I prepare all meals in, and facilities. I provide nutritious snacks and meals, individual daily reports, and one on one time as necessary. Outdoors there is a fully fenced backyard, sandbox, small wading pool (only about 1foot deep) swing set and slide, playhouse, and many other outdoor toys. I only have 5 children maximum with me at all times so your child is sure to receive all the attention they need. We do monthly theme learning, and crafts daily.
I will be updating with new courses such as the Family Child Care Training Program. This course was designed for a home based program where children of different ages are in the care of one provider. This is a new certification in Simcoe County, but offered across Canada. I will also take advantage of programs offered to Home Child Care Providers in the community like Health & Safety Workshop put on by the Simcoe County Health Unit. I am also currently updating my first aid/CPR courses.
My Goal:
- To provide thought-provoking activities, toys and learning practices to pledge linguistic progress and creativity.
- To have a schedule and program that will satisfy both the parent and the child in terms of diet, etiquettes and logical thinking skills.
- To provoke and maintain motor skill development.
- To help children learn and advance in a cheerful, exciting, and kind atmosphere.
- To develop good communication between the parent(s) and myself.
- To provide safe and hygienic conditions both inside and outside.
Raising Daysies provides weekday childcare services (Monday-Friday) between the hours of 7:30am - 5:30pm only. I provide for children from 12mos-9yrs, before/after school, half-day, and full-time.
