I run a Family Child Care and am registererd with Westcoast Childcare Resource and Referal Centre. I have space for 1 child full or part-time. The age group I look after are from 12 months to 5years.
I am loving and reliable and love looking after children and have lots of experince. I am an Aunty and have looked after my niece since birth to now(2 and half years old). I am currently looking after 2 children who are 2 and a half and 14 months respectively. We all have lots of fun but am very responsible and I keep safety first.
My daily schedule and activities with the children is as follows:
MORNING: Receiving children from 8.00am onwards, Free-play time, Mid-morning snack,DAILY PLANNED ACTIVITIES eg- Gathering and talking- Learn about the world and weather/Environment- Arts & Crafts- Montessori activities, Family/Home activities, Science activities, Language, ABC's, Cooking activities, Show and tell every Wednesday, Book Exchange every Friday. OUTSIDE PLAY everyday rain or shine. Story time at the library.
MID-DAY: Lunch, Nap or Quiet Time.
AFTERNOON: After nap time- FRUIT SNACK then movement games, stories, songs, dance and music, Choice of children's activities, One-on-One, Self/Alone time, SNACK at around 4.00pm, Free Play and then parents begin to arrive for pick-up
LUNCHES provided by parents. SNACKS provided by KIDZOO, 3 times a day.
ONCE A MONTH: Outings eg- Picnic, Museum, Theatre for children, Children's cultural programmes and More
Hygiene is of the utmost importance hence hand-washing is a must on arrival to Kidzoo, after activities, before eating and after potty.
