Welcome to Tinker tots child care! This is NOT your regular babysitting only kind of dayhome. I believe in play-based learning. We love our messy sensory play, from painting foam to squishing colored pasta to digging for toy dinosaurs in moon sand. We love singing, dancing, and acting silly. We love running around, and being outside. And I love that the children actually learn and retain more information through "simple play".
My name is Karen, a loving mom of two (4 years old and 2.5 years old). I have years of experience as a nanny and a live-in caregiver. I'm also certified in childcare CPR & first aid.
I offer a clean, safe, and fun environment. There is a dedicated play area, bedroom, and bathroom solely for the kids' use. We also have a large fenced yard with swing sets, slides, and lots of outdoor toys. I provide nutritionally balanced breakfast, lunch and snacks.
Our structured, yet relaxed routine includes:
