My name is Isabel known by Tia I speak three languages: Portuguese, French, and English. I have been looking after children between the ages of 11 monts-4years for 29 years. I believe in the importance of family, and make it a foundation between the children, their parents and I.
I have 2 years experience as a Montessori teacher assistant. This experience has helped me to develop a home based program which grows your child's unique talents and abilities. Your child will participate in daily activities that help develop your child's potential growth such as; gross motor skills, fine motor skills, practical life, sensorial, as well as their thinking skills. These are just a few of the many activities they do.
I have a daily routine, which I think is important especially for young children. This includes going to drop-in centres, the local library, playgrounds, walks to the lake, as well as various indoor and outdoor activities.
Hot meals are provided. I prepare the morning snack, a healthy lunch (well known for Tia's green soup: a variety of vegetables all blended together to form a green looking soup. The children love it!), and an afternoon snack.
I provide a safe, smoke-free home.
CPR training.
Can provide a police background check.
