Building Blocks Quality Home Daycare provides play based, educational care for children from 6 months to 4 years of age. I am a fully qualified RECE and I also have a BA Early Childhood Education degree from the University of Paisley, Scotland. I have over 13 years experience in the childcare and education field and I have two young children.
My daycare combines the best parts of a home care establishment with the educational aspects of a quality daycare centre. I follow a daily schedule filled with exciting activities and play based learning, including outdoor play in a fun filled, fenced backyard. I use baby signs with the children to help with language development and everyday we will make some fun artwork and get messy with sensory activities.
I provide two healthy snacks a day plus a nutritious lunchtime meal, with the occasional treat! I also complete a daily schedule for the parents about your child's day with a daily comment.
